Lauren volunteers as a firefighter and fire chaplain at Northern Wake Fire Department. Before moving to Raleigh, she has served as firefighter, EMT and Police Chaplain in Duplin/Pender County. As an ordained Baptist minister, she has a passion for serving first responders by building relationships and working alongside them, through both the good times, as well as the bad times. She is excited to be a part of the Peer Support team and has seen personally how beneficial it is to have someone there to listen and be a support through life’s trying times.
