Hi! My name is William Parrish, I was born on April 18th, 1993. I grew up in Salisbury, North Carolina and began as a volunteer at Scotch Irish Fire Department in August of 2015, and then began my career at Salisbury Fire Department on January 16th, 2017. I am married to the love of my life, Megan and we have a beautiful daughter named Addalyn. My passion for peer support began after loosing two of of my good friends and fellow fireman to suicide in 2019. In the past, I had dealt with thoughts of suicide, but because of the great support from some good friends and family, I was able to come out from that dark time in my life and now want to use what I know and learn to provide that support for anyone else.
