I was born September 7, 1979 in Raleigh NC. I grew up and have lived most of my life in the Raleigh / Garner area. I attended Garner Senior High School and graduated in 1998. I went to work for Wake County Schools and started to volunteer at Garner Fire Department shortly after. After a year of volunteering I was approached about becoming fulltime and going through the Garner FD Academy. In 2003 I was hired fulltime with Garner Fire Department and worked my way up to the rank of Lieutenant. In 2014 I accepted a fulltime training position with Wake County Fire Services where I am currently at today. I married my wonderful wife Christa in December 2009. We live in Raleigh with our daughter Michaela who was born in 2013 and our son Austin who was born in 2016. In 2019 I began volunteering with Swift Creek Fire Department and am still an active member today. I enjoy spending time with my family, being on the water, and working on small projects around the house.
