My name is Danny Nicholson, I’ve joined the fire service in 1982 as volunteer. In 2001, I was hired by Statesville Fire Department and began my professional career. I currently hold the rank of Battalion Chief/Accreditation Manager. I enjoy spending time with my family, coaching football and pole vaulting. The experiences I gained from the fire service and coaching high school sports demonstrated to me that core values are important at all ages. We need to be involved in helping others succeed. Becoming apart of NC Peer Support is something that I’m excited about being a part of.
