Michael started as a volunteer firefighter in 1983 in Alamance County, NC. He is currently employed with the Cary Fire Department as a Fire Engineer for 27 plus years. He also has volunteered in a rescue squad and worked part-time EMS. Early in my volunteer career I experienced negative reactions from an emergency call. He has an understanding for peer support for today’s emergency services. He is married with two dogs. He enjoys traveling and music. He is very proud to be part of the NC Peer
